All interested programs should complete the IBVCA Program Form, linked above, to help generate an active list of competing programs for the 2023 season. Returning IBVCA programs should complete the form to share updated athletic department information, and New-to-IBVCA programs should complete the form to start receiving Board emails & important IHSAA messages.

Programs may compete in the regular season regardless of school adoption status, and matches between schools of any status are still counted as part of the 23 regular + 2 tournament match count. Only programs with recognized athletic department relationships are allowed to compete in the State Tournament.

The IBVCA has adhered to IHSAA guidelines as frequently as possible over the last 25+ years. In this transition to Emerging Sport, all IHSAA rules must be followed.

(ADs – boys volleyball must follow ALL girls volleyball rules of the previous fall season.)

ADDITIONALLY: HS Administrators must mark BOYS VOLLEYBALL as an offered program on their MyIHSAA profile so that IHSAA will recognize your school as a competing entity. It should be updated in the following section, and the head coach contact information should be included in the contact section.
